Saxis Kids Fishing Day, Sept. 21, 2025 registration starts at 12:30 PM, fishing runs from 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM, presented by Eastern Shore Anglers Club.  The club will provide rods, reels, bait and tackle to the first 50 children.  The is NO FEE  and T-shirts and trophies will awarded.  There will be a cookout  after the fishing event also provided by the Eastern Shore Anglers Club.  Come and enjoy a great day of fishing for the kids.

Oyster Roast October 18, 2025 get your tickets early so you do not miss this event.  Live entertainment with Shoreline Grooves, raffle basket, and delightful foods make for an afternoon of fun with family and friends.  Tickets can be purchased by contacting Mayor Denise Drewer @ 757-710-4747 or online through the Saxis Island Museum @ www.saxisislandmuseum.org.  A limited amount of tickets will be available at the door for an additional fee.  We look forward to seeing you there!
